IMV Corporation announce that they will install a Simultaneous Multi Axis Vibration Test System in Europe in Q1 2015

Multi Axis

IMV EUROPE LIMITED is installing a mid‐range Multi‐Axis vibration test system in Europe in early 2015. The Maximum load capability of the System  is up to 100kg, maximum force is 30kN.

A typical vibration test system excites specimens mounted on the shaker in a single, specific direction; however, there is a growing demand to excite a specimen simultaneously in multiple directions, for example in any 3‐Dimensional(3D) direction.

The global trend in reliability testing is heading for more accurate and realistic testing. Consequently multi‐axis, multi‐point motion is required to closely replicate characteristics from the actual field environment. The technology of multi‐axis and multi‐point excitation is crucial in pursuing “test realism”. In terms of more realistic, waveform accurate motion, an electrodynamic vibration test system has far greater benefits.

Advanced hydrostatic bearing technology can  achieve both excellent waveform replication and cross‐axis control over an operating Frequency of 2,000Hz (sine and random). Low waveform distortion and good linearity are also achieved. The simultaneous multi‐axis test also gives reduction in test time.

This new facility will be open for both demonstration and for customers who wish  to perform Multi Axis Testing on their products ,
