Centrotecnica release extended displacement version of their Vacuum Slip Table (VST)
VST performing 100 mm Displacement test
Centrotecnica a leading provider of engineering test solutions have completed the customer acceptance test of their VST750 -100 Slip table.
This latest addition to the Centrotecnica range of slip tables is built on the success of their vacuum table technology which is becoming widely used in the Vibration test market.
This new version also enables customers the ability to upgrade their traditional vertical only Vibration systems to allow horizontal tests to be performed. The new VST package has been specifically designed to be interfaced with any manufacturers Vibration Test Systems and with this new release allows customers to utilise either Electro dynamic or Servo hydraulic actuators in a horizontal configuration.
Along with the extended displacement, the VST also maintains a high over turning moment capability and high frequency operation.
Many customers are also choosing to upgrade their horizontal test capability’s as the use of thermal chambers in combination becomes more common, traditional slip tables use complex bearing arrangements that are susceptible to thermal expansion issues when operated at extremes of temperature
