Accelerometer Calibration to ISO & UKAS Standards
In order to achieve the best possible accuracy, all accelerometers should be calibrated annually. No accelerometer is perfect. Any subject to heat, cold, shock, humidity, regular shipment and/or assembly may show a change in accuracy if not regularly calibrated.
With capabilities to calibrate to both ISO 9100 and UKAS Standards, THP Systems offer competitive rates and fast-turn around time on Accelerometer calibration to desired frequency ranges. Also able to offer on-site calibration, THP Systems can have your units calibrated at your location in a matter of minutes.
PCB Pieztronics, B&K, CTC, DJB, Endevco, Dytran and Innalabs are names we frequently work on but we have never yet had to turn down any accelerometer.

What equipment and systems can you calibrate?
THP Systems calibrates a broad range of test-and-measurement systems including accelerometers, environmental chambers, vibration controllers, data acquisition systems, digital multi-meters and handheld instrumentation.
What standards and accreditations apply to your calibration services?
We provide traceable calibrations to internationally recognised standards, and can issue UKAS-compliant certificates where required. For example, accelerometer calibrations via ISO/UKAS are available.
Do you offer on-site calibration, or must equipment be shipped to your facility?
Yes – THP Systems offers on-site calibration services for items such as accelerometers and sensors, as well as off-site services for larger equipment like chambers when needed.
What does your calibration certificate include?
Certificates cover equipment identification (type, model, serial number), calibration date, test methods and standards used, environmental conditions, measurement results (including deviation), and statement of traceability/uncertainty. THP Systems also supports full documentation for audits.
How often should I schedule calibration for test-lab equipment?
Frequency depends on usage, environment and criticality, but common intervals are:

What happens if a unit fails calibration?
If deviations beyond specification are found, THP Systems will flag the issue, recommend corrective action (repair or adjustment) and may provide repair services via their maintenance/repair division. This helps restore equipment to spec.
Are your calibration certificates globally accepted?
Yes. Because services are traceable to recognised standards and THP Systems operate as an independent calibration base, you can confidently use the certificates for international audit, certification and customer reporting.
How do I get a quote or schedule a calibration?
Provide details of the equipment (type, model, serial number), required standard (traceable or UKAS), location (on-site or at THP’s facility), quantity and preferred lead time. THP Systems will respond with a competitive quotation and schedule.
