Incline Impact Testers for Packaging and Pallet Load Simulation

THP Systems supplies incline impact testers that simulate rough handling, pallet marshaling, rail car switching and sudden stops in distribution. Standard models cover 1,000 to 8,000 lb payloads with options to 12,000 lb 5,454 kg. Backstops range from 4 x 4 ft to 10 x 10 ft and dollies from 48 x 48 in to 108 x 108 in. Maximum impact velocity is 8 ft per second 2.4 m per second. Optional optical velocity measurement and packaged instrumentation provide repeatable tests and audit-ready documentation for packaging sign off. These systems are used to execute ASTM D880 incline impact and are commonly applied within ASTM D4169, ISO 2244 and ISTA distribution test programmes.
