Product Overview

The RT Slip Table or Rail Table from Centrotecnica is a robust, highly damped light alloy horizontal table, guided by top technology bearings.

The table is composed of four layers with a special damping material interposed.

The first layer is the top damping, designed for damping the table and supporting test specimens. Under the damping layer is a strong central core that allows the optimization of frequency range and weight of the table. The central core consists of two parts in aluminum alloy. The first one is lightened towards the internal side. A plate is structurally glued to the lightened side to create a hollow plate.

This special design gives the table the maximum rigidity and reduces the weight.

The final layer is the lower damping layer, similar to the top layer. The whole table assembly boasts advanced technology and allows the use of mechanical bearings.

The Rail Table from Centrotecnica offers a high-technology solution without affecting table rigidity or moment load capacity. In addition, bearing replacement is an extremely simple operation that can be performed by the end-user, ultimately reducing maintenance costs.
