PCB Model 410D01: Single-Channel DIN Rail ICP® Signal Conditioner for Permanent Monitoring

PCB Piezotronics has launched the Model 410D01, a new single-channel DIN Rail-mount ICP® signal conditioner designed for permanent installation in industrial condition monitoring and structural health monitoring systems. The 410D01 provides the constant-current excitation and signal buffering that ICP® sensors require, in a compact form factor that fits directly onto standard DIN Rail panels.

DIN Rail Mounting for Clean Permanent Installations

Signal conditioning is a fundamental requirement for any ICP® sensor-based measurement system. ICP® accelerometers, pressure sensors, and force gauges need a regulated constant-current source to operate, and their outputs must be buffered before passing to data acquisition hardware. Traditionally, this conditioning has been provided by bench-top or rack-mount units — awkward for permanent installations that need to live inside a control cabinet. The 410D01 addresses this with DIN Rail mounting, enabling neat installation alongside PLCs, relays, and other industrial control components. Key features include:

  • Single-channel ICP® constant-current excitation (4 mA)
  • Wide frequency response for compatibility with a broad range of ICP® sensor types
  • DIN Rail clip for direct mounting to standard 35 mm DIN Rail
