Product Overview

The Spider-30R from Crystal Instruments is a rugged, ultra-compact 6-channel data acquisition system for vibration and structural measurements in harsh environments. Housed in a 110 x 110 x 50 mm aluminium enclosure weighing under 300 g, with sealed, locking M-type connectors for inputs, Ethernet and power, it delivers lab-quality measurements on test rigs, vehicles and in confined spaces.

Its six 24-bit inputs suit two tri-axial IEPE accelerometers, with up to 140 dB dynamic range and sampling up to 102.4 kHz. Internal microSD storage (4 GB as standard, up to 32 GB), a battery-backed real-time clock and an auto power-on timer make it equally suited to unattended field recording and permanently mounted predictive maintenance next to motors, pumps, fans, compressors and gearboxes.
