Spider-80N Ruggedised Dynamic Measurement System
Product Overview
The Spider-80N from Crystal Instruments is a ruggedised 8-channel front-end built for long-duration, high-density data acquisition in harsh environments. It combines the signal quality of the Spider-80X front-end with an integrated solid-state drive (Spider-NAS) in a single unit designed for military-standard environments, recording continuously to up to 4 TB of onboard storage.
With 160 dBFS dynamic range and sampling up to 204.8 kHz per channel, the Spider-80N can record for up to 360 hours at 51.2 kHz, or 90 hours at 204.8 kHz. It complies with MIL-STD-461G and MIL-STD-704D for integration on avionics and military platforms, operates from -54°C to +55°C with fanless cooling, and supports Black Box mode, running a pre-programmed schedule autonomously after boot with no host PC required.
