SLICE6 LEO
Product Overview
The SLICE6 LEO is a compact, radiation-tolerant 6-channel data acquisition unit (DAU) from DTS, built to capture analogue signals in low Earth orbit. Tolerant to 18 krad total ionising dose and based on the flight-proven SLICE6 platform, it combines universal analogue signal conditioning, onboard recording and real-time streaming in a 42 x 52 x 13 mm, 50 gram module.
Designed for space programmes with tight size and mass budgets, the SLICE6 LEO can be positioned right next to the sensors, cutting installation time and cable runs. It runs standalone, networks up to 10 modules (60 channels) in a daisy chain, or integrates with existing Ethernet-based test instrumentation. Real-time IRIG streaming and store-in-place recording run together, giving live monitoring and a redundant onboard copy of the data. It joins the SLICE6 AIR, SLICE6 AIR-BR and SLICE6 AIR-TC in the SLICE6 family supplied and supported in the UK by THP Systems.
