Compact and rugged, the TDAS G5 data acquisition system offers flexibility and reliability. TDAS G5 is the original in-dummy DAS for WorldSID, and converts to on-board applications using the TDAS G5 Vehicle Docking Station or the TDAS G5 iPort for smart load cell walls and crash barriers.

Options

TDAS G5 Vehicle Docking Station (VDS)

Onboard G5 mounting solution offers easy access to sensor inputs, power, status, and 19-pin communication interface. Panel features 32 sensor connectors (LEMO or Tajmi) and16 digital inputs. Internal battery with 1+ hour of primary power, daisy-chain for high-channel tests.

TDAS G5 iPort

Onboard G5 mounting solution for smart load cell barrier walls with integrated DAS. Four D-Sub connectors support 8 sensor inputs each for a robust interface for sensor inputs, power and communication.

TDAS G5 Digital Input Terminal

Digital input for 16 fully-isolated and protected contact closures. Features easy screw terminal access.

TDAS G5 Distributor

Allows up to four TDAS G5 systems to communicate via a single exit cable for power, control and Ethernet communication. Includes one Nano D cable. Ideal for in-dummy solutions.

BATTERIES & POWER

TDAS PLUS Distributor

Integrates power, communication, status and event signal distribution functions for multiple DTS DAQ systems (36-60 V input range). Options for 3, 6 or 9 outputs. Supports large multi-system test set-ups and in-dummy solutions.

TDAS PLUS Mini Distributor

Integrates power, communication, status and event signal distribution functions for multiple DTS DAQ systems. Input range options: 18-36 V, 36-60 V, 36-60 V. Crashlink or Amphenol connectors. Supports large multi-system TDAS test set-ups and in-dummy test solutions.

POWER PRO

Provides primary power and back-up power for large SLICE PRO systems for up to 1 hour plus. Outputs 15 VDC nominal. (Crashworthy)

PC Communication Cable (REC)

Ethernet to LEMO cable to provide communication between DTS DAQ system and PC. Available in a variety of lengths.

Daisy Chain Cable (RDC)

LEMO to LEMO cable used to daisy chain DTS DAQ systems via the COM ports. Available in a variety of lengths.

Power Cable (RPX)

DC input (LEMO) to pigtail for easy connection to a power supply. Available in a variety of lengths.

Power Cable (RPX)

Provides LEMO to LEMO connectivity between DTS DAQ system and power source. Available in a variety of lengths.

Distributor to Dummy exit cable (DDX)

(Mini) Distributor (System port) to Dummy Exit cable (standard 14-pin 2B Lemo in-line socket). Available in a variety of lengths.

G5 Distributor to Dummy Exit cable (DBX)

TDAS G5 in-dummy) Distributor (System port) to Dummy Exit cable (DDX). Available in a variety of lengths.

Distributor Event cable (DVB)

Distributor event (input = 7-pin 2B Lemo connector) to dual Banana connector. Available in a variety of lengths.

Power only cable (SPO)

Cable used to supply power between Mini Distributor System port and the Power input (on TDAS G5 VDS). Available in a variety of lengths.

TDAS G5 VDS Event cable (VVB)

Event cable. TDAS G5 Vehicle Docking Station event (LEMO 2B) to dual Banana connector. Available in a variety of lengths.

Status cable

Provides a visual indication of the TDAS status via green LED. Connects to COM port. Options available to connect to either the system or COM ports.

TOM Squib Output Cable (TSX)

Provides connection between SLICE PRO TOM and external device such as an airbag or seatbelt pretensioner. Available in a variety of lengths.

TDAS PRO/G5 Base cable Kit

Includes the basics required for a complete test solution. Includes Ethernet communication, event and power cables. and power supply.

Connectors

THA Thermocouple Adapter

Uses a standard miniature thermocouple connector to connect Type K thermocouples to SLICE systems. Two range options: -100 to +400C; 0 to 1250C

Range Expander

Adapter with cable that allows DTS DAQ systems to record voltage signals exceeding the standard input range. Available in ±20 V, ±40 V, ±60 V and ±800 V ranges. Various connector options available (LEMO, Omnetics, Tajimi).
Software

TDAS Control Software

TDAS Control is the original set-up, control, viewing and export software developed by DTS. TDAS Control provides easy-to-use tools for configuring output timing, as well as advanced features such as automatic sensor assignment, detailed channel diagnostics, real-time display and squib fire for airbag testing. TDAS Control only works with TDAS G5 and TDAS PRO.

DataPRO Software

DataPRO is a powerful set-up, control and data viewing software for DTS hardware. The intuitive user interface is designed to help test engineers create, control and manage every aspect of a test. DataPRO makes it easy to access complete sensor and hardware details, plus share test information via standalone or centralized SQL databases. Key features include integrated off-line test builder, extensive ISO MME database, enhanced diagnostic tools, multiple viewing options and automatic report generation.
