SLICE IP68 is a modular data acquisition system featuring unparalleled flexibility, technology and reliability in an ultra small

form factor. Based on the proven architecture of SLICE MICRO, the SLICE IP68 system is engineered to for even more extreme test environments.

SLICE makes it easy to systems in 3-channel increments by stacking layers with different sensor input configurations.

Waterproof, miniature, modular SLICE IP68 data acquisition systems are IP68 rated for water and dust ingress. SLICE IP68 supports a variety of external sensors, includes full signal conditioning and writes data directly to flash memory.

Options
BASE+ SLICE IP68

One (1) base required per stack, includes system microprocessor and 16 GB memory. Next add any combination of sensor input layers (up to 24 channels) per base. Stacks can be daisy-chained for higher channel counts.

BRIDGE SLICE IP68

Three (3) inputs for external sensors including: full and half-bridge sensors, strain gauges, IEPE, voltage input, thermocouples.

IEPE SLICE IP68

Three (3) inputs for external IEPE (piezo-electric) sensors.

ACCEL SLICE IP68

Built-in triaxial accelerometer available in a variety of ranges.

ARS SLICE IP68

Built-in triaxial angular rate sensor available in a variety of ranges.

SLICE IP68 Power Pack

Optional primary power source, Li-Po, available in 2200 and 6600 mAH.

ACCESSORIES

SLICE End-of-Chain (EOC) Terminal

Supports power input, ON signal, status output, start record input and event input signals (3 A max). Easy-to-use screw terminals. Included in the SLICE MICRO Base Cable Kit. (not IP68 rated)

SLICE IP68 DAS Base Cable Kit

Includes End-of-Chain (EOC) Terminal, start-event switch, USB comm cable and power supply. Connect PC and EOC to DAS, power and start-event switch to EOC, and start testing immediately. Components also available separately.

BATTERIES & POWER

IP68 Power Pack

The SLICE IP68 mounts directly to the IP68-rated rechargeable battery pack for a complete solution. Available in 2200 mAH and 6600 mAh options. The Power Pack is also compatible with SLICE MICRO and SLICE NANO systems.

SLICE IP68 Battery Add-On Cable Kit

All the components needed for connect SLICE IP68 to the Power Pack and recharge. Kit includes battery charger, battery to EOC charger cable (1 m), SLICE IP68 Base-to-Base/Battery daisy-chain cable (15 cm) and an AC power cord.

THA Thermocouple Adapter

Uses a standard miniature thermocouple connector to connect Type K thermocouples to SLICE systems. Two range options: -100 to +400C; 0 to 1250C (not IP68 rated)

Range Expander

Adapter with cable that allows DTS DAQ systems to record voltage signals exceeding the standard input range. Available in ±20 V, ±40 V, ±60 V and ±800 V ranges. Various connector options available (LEMO, Omnetics, Tajimi). (not IP68 rated)

SLICEWare Software

SLICEWare is an intuitive set-up, control and data viewing software for SLICE NANO, SLICE MICRO, SLICE IP68 and SLICE PRO SIM hardware. Designed to provide fast, easy-to-use tools for data collection, SLICEWare is ideal for both small and large-scale tests. SLICEWare offers advanced features such as automatic sensor assignment, detailed channel diagnostics and real-time data display to support successful data collection every test.

DataPRO Software

DataPRO is a powerful set-up, control and data viewing software for DTS hardware. The intuitive user interface is designed to help test engineers create, control and manage every aspect of a test. DataPRO makes it easy to access complete sensor and hardware details, plus share test information via standalone or centralized SQL databases. Key features include integrated off-line test builder, extensive ISO MME database, enhanced diagnostic tools, multiple viewing options and automatic report generation.
